Caffe bar Kafić
About This Spot
Stepping into Caffe bar Kafić feels like finding a quiet corner in Mostar where time slows just enough for you to breathe in the moment. Nestled behind a subtle green wall, the café invites a calm yet welcoming energy—an understated charm that often catches visitors pleasantly off-guard. The pace here is unhurried, the kind of place where friendly faces and gentle conversation blend effortlessly with the hum of soft music and the clinking of cups.
The outdoor garden offers a peaceful retreat, especially on warmer days, where you can settle in with a latte that carries warmth beyond its steam. This spot is quietly known among locals for its thoughtful touches—a carefully brewed mint tea made from loose leaves, or a slice of cake that echoes a story in every bite. The desserts here don’t just satisfy sweet cravings; they invite you to linger, to savor a moment of indulgence shaped by familiar ingredients and unique twists. Whether it’s a cheesecake gently crowned with chocolate or a rich, nut-sprinkled torte, these treats feel like homemade memories crafted to share.
Part of the café’s heart lies in its people—the attentive team that knows many visitors by name and instinctively understands the small kindnesses that turn a coffee run into a human connection. There’s an ease here, a friendliness that makes you feel more like a welcomed guest than a passerby. With a discreet blend of local atmosphere and a touch of international flavor, this café quietly holds its own in a lively neighborhood where two coffee spots share a yard. It’s a place for restful pauses, for cozy corners and genuine smiles, tucked away yet fully present in the rhythm of Mostar’s café culture.

My favourite coffee place in Mostar. Homemade cakes and drinks besides the regular menu. The staff is very friendly and even allowed me not to pay when I forgot my wallet few times. Don't mix them up with the coffee place next to them behind the green wall.

I always compare any san sebastian to the one I had in Turkey and nothing ever comes close. It was okay, would have preferred a normal milk chocolate, the one it was served with tasted like a chocolate hazelnut spread/ nutella. However, I really loved the mint tea, loved that it was losose leaf tea rather than in a teabag. The service was also good.

The vibe and atmosphere is amazing, and the staff very helpful. It is not easy to distinguish which coffee place is which, as there are two sharing the same yard. Good prices, unfortunately the coffee is lavazza.

Had some resting here, had access to free wifi (even if we weren’t customers), had great service and food was delicious. 2 of us had the limited edition brownie, definitely get it whilst possible. 2 times cheaper than in the Netherlands yet 2 as delicious. Definitely a recommended dish. Also, the music was great and not too loud, so it was easy to hear each other.

Very pleasant stay. We rested in the garden of the café and their latte as well as Sebastian cheese cake with chocolate topping not to mention Dubai cheesecake were excellent... I have included video and picture of the moment to share. Best regards to the visitors at this place!

Kafić and Fabrika share the same court, so watch the menu on the tables if you have a strong preference for one or the other. I had a cappuccino which was good and a pistachio raspberry pie which was okay. The service was good, the seating/ atmosphere comfortable and relaxed. I went there again in the afternoon and had an iced coffee - not my cup of coffee (pun intended) - it was sweet and very milky.

Went here for an afternoon snack and drink. I saw they use chain coffee beans (lavazza) so opted for a tea instead. Would be nice (and probably not even more expensive) to use some locally roasted beans. Anyway the tea was fine and I had a cheesecake with pistachio topping on the side too. Price was around 6KM but cash only so I don't remember exactly. The cake was honestly quite good. Not very sweet and creamy. The pistachio topping was quite sweet but the flavor was good and it was served on the side so you can adjust how much u use - very nice! Overall I would recommend this place for the cakes. For coffee I'd go to Fabrika next door though. They share the same space so it can be a bit confusing to find the one you want.

One of the coziest places in Mostar to enjoy a good coffee and some cake. Excellent service, with waiters who speak English and several other languages. Great atmosphere – a calm and pleasant spot.
